It's shaping up once again to be an action packed weekend, with not only the main Run but the Bupa Junior and Mini Great North Run, the brand new Bupa Great North 5k, the Great North CityGames and an ever expanding culture programme.

Bupa Great North Run Culture is back and bigger than ever!
We've commissioned brand new work inspired by the Great North Run from Turner Prize-winning artists Douglas Gordon and Mark Wallinger, an interactive show for families with Kate Fox - The Starting Line, an outdoor exhibition along the route by photographer Dan Holdsworth and The Order of Things, a film by Karin Kihlberg and Reuben Henry.

Still looking for Accommodation? Would you like race day return transfers?
